Saturday April 24
The weather was great for our first match of the season. Bright skies, reasonable temperatures and just a light breeze. We Had 5 long distance out of town shooters and 3 locals show up. Aside from a couple target malfunctions (that were easily rectified), the match ran rather smoothly. The winner of the Noteworthy Targets snail swinger was Bill C.

Saturday May 8
Well, the weather was rather interesting for our second match of the season! It started out windy with a light rain during our practice session which was ok because it provided time for a little air gunsmithing in the club house.
We had 3 local shooters and 1 die hard long distance traveler on hand to shoot the match. By the time the match started, the sun came out and the wind started to blow! We had strong winds with some even stronger gusts throughout the match. No reducers were used which made things a little easier but definitely not easy! The winner of the Noteworthy Targets turtle swinger was Art D. (who chose to make the long trip in the SUV rather than on the bike). Congrats Art!

Saturday June 12
Deja Vu!!! We had 2 couple minute downpours during our sight in session then not a drop for the whole match!! Sounds quite a bit like last months match!!
We ended up with 7 shooters out to brave the elements, and of course the shooters were victorious! The day turned out partly sunny, with the humidity on the rise throughout the match. The course was on the on the hard side (maybe a little too hard), but overall everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The winner of this weeks Noteworthy Targets T-Rex swinger was George F. We also had additional raffle prizes this week donated by Dave L. Jerry L. won his entry fee back, Harold S. won an allen set & Joseph B. won a set of B-Square rings. Congrats to all!!

Saturday August 14
It was an Excellent day for a Field Target match!! We had reasonable temperatures (mid to upper 70's), lower humidity and cloudy to partly sunny skies.
We had 7 shooters on hand for this months match. There was a tricky breeze that kicked up a few times which threw off the shooters when they least expected it. The AfterHours Frog made a returning visit to the range from his long hiatus. He was tested prior to the match for function, and was within spec. The problem is, is that when you don't hit the KZ, he won't go down.....hmmm ;)!
There were a couple of Gamo targets that acted up during the match, but no one could figure out why. Guess it's time for some investigation! It was a fun match and a lot of advise, professional tuning and parts were handed out freely. The match concluded with the distribution of the raffle prizes. The winners of this months Noteworthy swinger targets were Art D. and Bill C. Enjoy gentlemen!

Saturday September 11
Yet another Excellent day for a Field Target match!! The temperatures started in the upper 40's during sight in and rose to the mid 70's by the end of the match. We had a little fog in the area that lifted and brought out nice blue skies! There were just a few slight gusts of wind every now and then, but mostly just a calm awesome day.
Nine shooters were on hand for our last match of the season. Four shooters traveled from down near the NYC area along with one from central NY, one from central PA, two locals and one from Crosman. The tragedy 9 years ago was on the minds of all. Thoughts and prayers go out to the all the families and friends!!
This match was one of our tougher ones that we have had this year. There were plenty of challenging targets throughout. Kill zone sizes ranged from 3/8" to 1 3/4". No target malfunctions and no cold lines! There were a few hit/no hit questions, but no other squads had any issues so those were put to rest.
The winners of this months Noteworthy Swingers were Bartek D., Tom W. and Tom H.!! Congrats to all, and enjoy!
