2010 Northeast Regional Field Target Championship (NERFTC)

The Broome County Sportsmen's Association will once again proudly play host to the 2010 NERFTC! The match will be held on Saturday July 10th, 2010. The practice range will open at 7:00AM, followed by the competitors meeting at 8:30AM with the match starting at 9:00AM. The match will be an 80 shot aggregate on courses with 2 targets per lane and competitors will take 2 shots per target. There will be a 5 minute time limit for each lane.
AAFTA rules will be observed and shooters will compete in either the PCP Division, Piston Division, PCP Hunter Division, or Piston Hunter Division. No additional classes will be offered. Awards will be given to places 1st through 3rd for each division. Crosman will be financing all awards for the match and they plan to have company representatives present to promote their product line and participate in the match!
If you have a special squadding request (someone you wish to shoot with) please indicate this on your registration form and we will make every attempt to honor your request.
A chicken BBQ meal will be provided free to all competitors who pre-register before July 1st. If competitors will be bringing a guest additional meals can be ordered when pre-registering. Otherwise, additional BBQ meals will likely not be available for purchase. There is a McDonald's and an ExpressMart about 1.5 miles from the club.

These are pretty much the closest places to the range with easy highway access. Time to the range will be about 15 minutes. The budget choices are Super 8 and Econo Lodge, but the Fairfield Inn is right next to a Cracker Barrel. There are other options available so Google away to suit your taste.
The deadline for registration is 8:30AM July 10th, 2010. The entry fee is $20.00 per competitor, $5.00 for juniors (age 18 and under).
