Minutemen Field Target League

The League's objective is to encourage participants to travel and experience different venues, to meet fellow
enthusiasts and enjoy sharing our passion for FT; all while competing for top honors in their class.

Rules:
- The League will run from December to November.

- Cost to enter will be a one-time yearly fee of $10 / class / shooter. All monies collected will go towards
the 1 place awards in each of the 6 AAFTA rifle plus Hunter Pistol divisions.

- Competitors may shoot in different classes, provided the entry fee for each class is paid prior to the
first match shot in that class and they declare their intentions to the MD of the venue. The MD will then
sign the match card stating the score, the class, the venue and the date. All future scores will be eligible
to count in that class.

- Special RIFLE shoots that do not use the 1 point per fallen target scoring system will not count. Neither will
Rifle shoots with less than 40 shots, or Pistol shoots with less than 30 shots. Hunter Pistol shoots with
special scoring systems will be normalized to the maximum possible score, though the League encourages all
MD's to revert, as much as possible to the 1 point per fallen target system in their Hunter Pistol shoots.

- In order to be eligible, a shooter must shoot a minimum of 4 different venues in the same class.
Venues may be shot multiple times or all venues may be shot. Only the 4 highest scores from 4
different venues count towards their per-class aggregate.

- Shooters may compete in more than one class as long as they shoot 4 venues in each class

- Match directors are allowed to count their scores at their home matches.

- All match scores will be normalized.

- Match announcements must be posted a minimum of 2 weeks in advance. Announcements may be
through their club’s website and posted on the Field Target Forum.

- IF a particular venue does not specifically allow for the class the shooter wants to shoot in, he will
need to comply with the more stringent rules of the two classes: the one he is competing in the League,
and the one he is shooting at that venue. The MD will make the appropriate notes in the score card.
