2009 NYPENN RSC Smallbore Online Registration

Date of Competition: Saturday September 5th 2009
Sponsored by: Broome County Sportsmen’s Association, Kirkwood, NY
Directions to Range: From NY Rt.17 (future I86) - Take Exit 76 (Haskins Road/Foley Road). Turn right onto Foley Road (Foley Road is on the north side of the highway). Range is ahead on the left side of road.
Competition is open to: All interested shooters.
Entry Fee: $30.00 one gun, 2 guns for $40.00; Juniors: $15.00 one gun, 2 guns for $20.00. Entry is limited to 3 relays of 16 shooters (48 total) for standard and hunter rifle.
Deadline for pre-registration is August 1, 2009.
Firing Times: 7:00 AM practice, 8:30 AM match
Rules: Current NRA Silhouette rules will apply. Equipment check begins at 6AM.
Schedule & Conditions: 16 shooters per relay
Morning: Standard rifle, two 40-shot rounds; Afternoon: Hunter rifle, two 40-shot rounds
10 shots on chickens at 40m
10 shots on pigs at 60m
10 shots on turkeys at 77m
10 shots on rams at 100m
Volunteer target setters and scorers will be provided (tips appreciated!).
Classification: NRA Silhouette Classification will be used. Unclassified shooters will compete in the highest available class. Anyone not having a current silhouette scorebook must purchase one at the range for $12.00. Unclassified shooters will compete in the highest available class.
Awards: 1st through 3rd all classes, High Junior, High Senior, High Woman.
General information: Club house with modern lavatory facilities and soda machine will be available. Chicken BBQ lunch will be provided for competitors. You can order additional lunch meals in advance. Other fast food available approximately one mile. Firing line is covered. Seating is limited so bring a lawn chair. These are pretty much the closest places to the range with easy highway access. Time to the range will be about 15 minutes. The budget choice is Super 8, but the Fairfield Inn is right next to a Cracker Barrel. There are other options available so Google away to suit your taste.
