FACILITIES / EQUIPMENT

Through the hard work of its members over many years, Broome County Sportsmen's Association is fortunate to have excellent facilities at their 135-acre property located in a rural valley and on adjacent hillsides. BCSA facilities include:

Club House: with meeting room, trophy display, kitchen, and M/F restrooms	X
Outdoor Rifle Range: 8 position, 100 meter, covered	X
Silhouette Range: 8 position, 100 meter, covered, shooting up wooded hillside	X
Trap Range: 6 position	X
50 Foot Moving Target: Indoor, 2 speed settings
Outdoor Pistol Range: 25 yd / 50 yd, covered, 16 positions, with electronically timed turning targets at 25 yd	X
Indoor Rifle / Pistol Range: 50 ft, 12 positions, standing/prone, with electronically timed turning targets, meeting / rest area, range heated and ventilated.	X
Falling Metal Plates: Outdoors, 2 units @ 50 ft	X
Automated 911 Dialer: Single pushbutton makes automatic 911 call

 

The range is open 365 days a year to members. Indoor and outdoor shooting may commence at 9:30 am. Outdoor shooting ceases at dusk; indoor shooting ceases at 10:00 pm.

BCSA has available a number of small bore and larger long guns which may be used for training and in beginning competition.
