Waterman Conservation Center - A jewel of a nature center, just west of Binghamton. Includes Hiawatha Island in the Susquehanna River, near Owego, NY.
Fingerlakes Trail - Network of maintained trails running throughout the Southern Tier. Certified by the National Park Service, it is part of the North Country National Scenic Trail system extending through seven states from Eastern New York to central North Dakota.
